The New York Life Insurance Company announced its plans to pay participating policy holder $1.7 billion in dividends in 2016. This represents an increase over the 2015 dividend payment of 6.25%.
New York Life noted this increase represents a 37% increase since 2011.
Out of the $1.7 billion dividend payout $1.6 billion will go to whole life policy holders.
New Dividend Scale
